SSWP Book Club

SSWP Book Club represents an academic and intellectual framework dedicated to the systematic exploration of the ideas and systems that govern the contemporary world. In an academic context that is often fragmented and predominantly oriented toward the accumulation of information, SSWP Book Club proposes a structured space for reading, critical analysis, and argument-based dialogue, in which ideas are not merely consumed, but evaluated, challenged, and debated collectively.

SSWP Book Club is designed primarily for students of the Faculty of Political Science, as a complementary instrument for academic formation and intellectual deepening. The club seeks to transform reading from a curricular obligation into an active exercise of understanding, analysis, and interpretation, offering students a framework that motivates them to engage not only with mandatory readings, but also with supplementary literature relevant to their field of study. Through this structure, participants are encouraged to explore in depth the concepts, theories, and dynamics of the phenomena that define the disciplines studied in their courses.

The club’s central objective is to form a community of students capable of working with concepts, ideas, and interpretative models relevant to understanding political, social, and historical realities at the national, regional, and international levels.
