Conference: “From the Securitate to the SRI”
Security Studies and World Politics (SSWP) had the honour of organizing the conference “From the Securitate to the SRI” in the P.P. Negulescu Hall of the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest, located at 8 Spiru Haret Street.
We thank the speakers for contributing to the event and, of course, all members of our association and guests who actively participated.
The speakers were:
- Cristian Troncota, Brigadier General (Ret.), historian and writer, former Dean of the Faculty of Intelligence within the National Intelligence Academy, and currently full professor at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu
- Silviu Moldovan, Head of the Research and Publishing Service at the National Council for the Study of the Securitate Archives (CNSAS); Senior Researcher, PhD, Centre for European History and Civilization
- Florian Banu, historian and adviser at the National Council for the Study of the Securitate Archives (CNSAS)
- Professor Dr. Cristian Barna, training manager at Intelligence4All and associate professor at the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, University of Bucharest; the Faculty of History and Philosophy, Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca; and the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest (FSPUB)
