Victoria-Miruna Ghițulete is the founder and president of the Security Studies and World Politics Association. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in European Studies. Her academic interests focus on international relations, foreign policy analysis, and Middle Eastern geopolitics, with a particular emphasis on Romanian and Israeli foreign policy, as well as EU–Israel relations. She intends to continue her academic path in political science, further developing her research in these areas. Her professional and academic experience includes student representation, project coordination, the organization of conferences and forums, as well as institutional and diplomatic experience. She has been active within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and the Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce, strengthening her interest in diplomacy and international cooperation. Through her work, she aims to contribute to the development of an active academic community connected to current debates in national and global affairs.

Ștefan-Daniel Țuțuianu is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest, under the coordination of Dean Alexandra Iancu. His doctoral research focuses on judicial reform and the democratization of the Republic of Moldova. He graduated in 2022 from the same faculty (French branch) with a perfect 10/10, defending a bachelor's thesis on the evolution of the Eastern Partnership under the guidance of Professor Armand Goșu. He subsequently completed a master’s degree (2022–2024) with maximum honors, specializing in post-Soviet transitions, democratic resilience, and the impact of Russian propaganda in Ukraine, Moldova and Central&Eastern Europe&ex-Soviet states. His areas of expertise include public affairs, diplomacy, defence, intelligence, security and the geopolitical dynamics of Central and Eastern Europe. A dedicated advocate for liberal democracy and European values, he is deeply committed to support multicultural values, combating antisemitism&xenophobia and hate speech towards minorities. He is also an active member of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Romania (FCER), Iași branch. A strong supporter of the Euro-Atlantic democratic model and the values of the Open Society.

Justina-Dimitria Nuțiu recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies from the Faculty of Political Science and is currently pursuing a parallel degree in Law. Passionate about international law, international security, and global governance, she plans to continue her academic journey by pursuing Master’s degrees in both International Relations and International Law. As Secretary General since the founding of the Association, a role she has held since the beginning of her university studies, Justina has grown alongside the organization. The position has shaped her into a disciplined, responsible, and detail-oriented professional, strengthening her leadership, organizational, and management skills. Her primary responsibility is to ensure that the Association’s internal operations run seamlessly—from coordinating administrative processes to maintaining effective communication and organizational efficiency. She firmly believes that every successful organization is built on strong internal structures, accountability, and teamwork, and she is committed to making sure that everything behind the scenes works as smoothly as possible.

Gabriel-Nicolae Andrei Vice-President of External Relations, Security Studies and World Politics Association Gabriel-Nicolae Andrei is a third-year Political Science student in the English-taught programme at the University of Bucharest, specializing in the study of international relations, diplomacy, European affairs, and global security. His academic interests are complemented by an active commitment to fostering dialogue between academia, policymakers, and diplomatic practitioners. As Vice-President of External Relations of the Security Studies and World Politics Association (SSWP), Gabriel leads the Association's efforts to establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with diplomatic missions, governmental institutions, international organizations, universities, and civil society. Through these collaborations, he works to expand opportunities for students by facilitating high-level conferences, diplomatic dialogues, policy discussions, and professional engagement with leading experts in international affairs. Recognized for his strategic vision, leadership, and commitment to academic excellence, Gabriel is dedicated to promoting meaningful international cooperation and advancing the role of young professionals in shaping informed discussions on contemporary global challenges. He aspires to pursue a career in diplomacy and international affairs, contributing to Romania's foreign policy and strengthening its engagement within the European and international community.

Munteanu Alecsia-Roberta is a student at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest, where she is building her academic and professional path around essential values such as fairness, seriousness, discipline, and responsibility. She is passionate about politics, leadership, and civic engagement, and her goal is to contribute, through dedication and vision, to projects that can generate real change in society. She aspires to develop her career within state institutions, particularly within the Government or the Parliament of Romania, where public decisions can have a direct impact on people’s lives. She believes in balanced leadership, built on integrity, empathy, and a deep understanding of social realities. For her, involvement means more than presence; it means commitment, consistency, and the desire to build something lasting. Through her activity within SSWP, she contributes to strengthening a professional, fair, and efficient environment in which every member is encouraged to grow, get involved, and reach their full potential. She aims for every project she takes part in to reflect seriousness, energy, and respect for people.

Rafaela Mazere is a graduate of the Security Studies program at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest, which she completed with a perfect score of 10 on her bachelor's thesis defense. Her research explored the unfinished transition of Romanian cultural diplomacy, examining how the relevant institutions adapted to European standards without undergoing a full organizational transformation. Within the Security Studies and World Politics Association, Rafaela coordinates the marketing department, managing the association's social media accounts and its image in relation to all the entities it collaborates with. Passionate about international relations and the role of culture in foreign policy, Rafaela intends to continue this line of research at the master's and doctoral levels and aspires to work in the field of cultural diplomacy. She is an ambitious and motivated person who places strong emphasis on professionalism, academic rigor, and institutional engagement.

Ana-Sabrina Bularca is a second-year Political Science student in the English-taught program at the University of Bucharest, currently serving as Research Director within the Security Studies and World Politics Association (SSWP). She is passionate about reading and about identifying relevant and engaging topics of interest, with a focus on understanding complex political and social issues. In her role, she contributes to research-oriented initiatives and supports activities that encourage critical thinking and informed discussion. Sabrina is also motivated to write articles aimed at helping citizens better understand news and political developments, making complex information more accessible and easier to interpret. She seeks to further develop her analytical, research, and communication skills while contributing to projects that promote civic awareness and informed engagement.

Olaru Alessia-Elena is a second-year student in the International Relations and European Studies (RISE) program at the University of Bucharest, with a strong interest in diplomacy, cultural exchange, international cooperation, and foreign languages. As Director of the External Affairs Department within the Security Studies and World Politics Association (SSWP), she contributes to the development of academic initiatives and international partnerships focused on contemporary global issues. Believing that diplomacy begins with dialogue and mutual understanding, Alessia is passionate about communication and intercultural exchange, aspiring to build a future career in international relations and foreign affairs.
